22nd edition of the Communiqué
GENERAL UPDATES:
Dear CSIA Member,
It might be a bit early to mention, but in 5 days, the days will start to get shorter, and we will move towards next winter!
I am excited to see posts from our Members who live and work in the Southern Hemisphere… It looks like they have been blessed with good early snow in both Australia and New Zealand, which is so nice to see after the hard-hitting impacts of COVID during the last two seasons!
EPC RECRUITMENT – DEADLINE TOMORROW!
If you have not seen the last editions of Communiqué, we are recruiting for the Education Program Coordinator roles in both Ontario and Alberta. The deadline for applications is tomorrow (Friday, June 17th, 11:59 pm EST). These are both full-time, year-round positions and an exciting opportunity at the CSIA! Click here to find out more.
FALL EVENTS
Although we officially will not open Program registration until the fall, we are working on final details with venues for our first on-snow events next winter and will be providing ”save the date” information in the next issue of the Communiqué. That will include both Course Conductor Training and our kick-off Member Pro Days Camp Events!

Over this summer, we are developing additional resources that will be released next fall. For the first time in three years, we were able to get some filming done at the end of the season, which gave us the footage we need to create the next round of visual resources for you, our Membership!
This is a busy time for the National Board and the Staff, as we work towards completing our Operational Plan and Budget for the 2022-2023 season. The deadline to complete this work is our fiscal year-end, June 30th.
