Dear CSIA Member,
I hope this edition finds everyone enjoying the last days of August and hopefully your pre-season training is well underway! On my run this past weekend, I was happy to see the first few leaves hitting the ground!
In this edition: a quick update on fall timing, Interski 2023 packages offered to the Membership, updates on CSIA safety protocols, and last season’s Level 3 survey results.
GENERAL UPDATES:
UPDATES ON FALL TIMING
- Tuesday, September 6: We will be opening the 2022-2023 Membership renewal! Upon renewal, you will have access to the upcoming season’s Pro Deal codes from The North Face… an ideal time to renew your training gear, and plan for your ski kit this winter.
- Monday, October 3: Programs will open for registration!
- As a reminder, our premier fall events, (Pro Day Camps, aka Members’ Conventions and Course Conductor Training) are scheduled on the following dates as outlined in June 30 Communiqué. Click here to get all the details and save the date!
INTERSKI 2023 MEMBER PACKAGES
For the first time since Interski 2011 in St Anton, we are offering packages for Members to attend the Interski Congress in Levi, Finland, taking place March 26-31, 2023.
Meet the World and take part in all the events of this international ski congress, shoulder to shoulder with your CSIA Interski Demonstrators!
We will open for bookings in the next Communiqué on September 8th. Spots are limited.
National Program Director Jeff Marks and I had a chance to get a site tour last March. The venue, the hospitability of the host community and the World getting back together after the Pandemic will make this a trip of a lifetime!
Each Ground package includes the following (excluding airfare):

COVID-19 SAFETY PROTOCOLS FOR 2022-2023
Click here to consult CSIA’s updated protocols regarding COVID-19. Fingers crossed; we have the worst of the Global Pandemic behind us. In 2022-2023 we will NOT be requiring proof of vaccination or face coverings to attend Programs! Should Public Health Regulations change, our protocols and requirements may also change.
LEVEL 3 SURVEY RESULTS
In the last two editions of the Communiqué, I shared the Level 1 and the Level 2 Program survey results. In this edition, we have the Level 3 survey results.
Last season we delivered 1150 Level 3 participant Programs, and of that, 371 participants filled out a survey at the end of the Program. Here are the results...
