It has been a couple of jam-packed weeks since the last Communiqué. I have been attending the ASSQ conference in Quebec, OSRA Fall Sessions in Ontario, and I am off to the CWSAA meetings next week in Calgary! It is so great to connect with our Industry Partners; the excitement about the upcoming season is amazing! Snow has started to fall in parts of the country. Lake Louise, the Western venue for our Pro Days Camp (aka Convention) is getting snow at the time of writing these lines!

FALL PRO DAYS CAMPS AND COURSE CONDUCTOR TRAINING - SAVE THE DATE!
Our Eastern and Western CSIA Pro Days Camps (aka Members’ Convention) and CCT will be held later this fall in Lake Louise (Alberta) and in Tremblant (Quebec). As mentioned above, registration will only be possible on October 3rd, but you may book your lodging now. Please see all details below pertaining to dates and bookings for either Lake Louise or Tremblant events.

Once you have filled out the form, you will be prompted to upload a digital copy of your Membership card. (Your Membership card is found in your snowpro.com Profile).

NEW PARTNERSHIP WITH CARV!
Over the past year, CSIA staff along with members of the Technical Committee and Women in Skiing Committee have been working to better understand and investigate the potential for CARV (a real-time audio coaching technology) and the CSIA to work together to develop added educational tools and Programs. In the spring of 2022, members of the CARV development team traveled from Europe and spent a day with us on snow to further our knowledge and understanding. We will continue to look collaboratively at development opportunities through this season.
In the meantime, we are excited to announce that CARV has recently become a Bronze Sponsor of the CSIA which will mean access to Pro Deals for CSIA Members beginning in November! Keep an eye out for more information through the Pro Deals section of snowpro.com and stay tuned for further developments as CARV, the CSIA staff, TC and WIS volunteers return to the snow together this season.
Here's an overview of the Pro Deal that CARV will be offering starting November 1, 2022, for the upcoming season:

As the COVID-19 pandemic gets a bit further in our rear-view mirror each day, there is so much to look forward in the season ahead. All market conditions would say we will have a great busy season! I hope everyone’s preseason training is going well, in order to get the most out of the season ahead!
I can’t wait to see everyone during the Town Halls, and shortly after that on snow!
