Notice of Annual General Meeting - CSIA Alberta Region
Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of the Canadian Ski Instructors' Alliance - Alberta Region will be held on Saturday, April 13th, 2018 in Banff, Alberta. The meeting is being called for the purposes of reviewing the 2018-2019 season, receiving the reviewed financial statements for the year ended May 31, 2018, and the election of directors for the 2019-2020 season on the CSIA Alberta Regional Committee.
The meeting will be held in the chalet at Mt. Norquay and will start at 17:00 MST. Sign in for those wishing to attend will begin at 16:30 MST. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to sign in and receive their ballot for the election.
All 7 positions on the Regional Committee are up for election this year, with four existing board members standing for re-election. Any CSIA Members in good standing who are residents of the province of Alberta are also eligible to run from the floor of the AGM, provided they are in attendance and their nomination is supported by three other members who are also present. A nomination form will be available at the sign in table. The incumbents seeking re-election are:
· Jack DeRoo (Incumbent, North Zone - entering his 2nd term)
· Morgan Engel (Incumbent, South Zone – entering his 2nd term)
· John Krupa (Incumbent, South Zone – entering his 2nd term)
· Roland Searle (Incumbent, Mountain Zone – entering his 2nd term)

Kyle Armstrong (Mountain Zone – reached maximum service term)
Steve Elsley (North Zone – reached maximum service term)
Gord Fielding (Mountain Zone – stepped down/not seeking reelection)
