Veteran trainer and current TEC Chair steps into Program Management.

Montréal, QC — June 8, 2026

The Canadian Ski Instructors’ Alliance (CSIA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Guy Dale as Program Manager, effective immediately. In this role, Guy assumes national responsibility for the quality, consistency, and standards of CSIA training and certification programs across Canada — supporting Course Conductors, snow schools, and the membership in the continued delivery of excellence on snow.

Guy brings 35 winters of experience at the intersection of instructor development, curriculum design, and program delivery. A CSIA Level 4 Ski Instructor and Level 4 Course Conductor, he has delivered and quality-assured certification programs across Canada, New Zealand, and Australia, and is a member of the CSIA Interski Team that represented Canada in 2023 and will return to represent Canada at Interski 2027 in Vail, Colorado.

Guy is already a familiar presence within the organization. As Chair of the Technical & Educational Committee (TEC), he has led national education and technical development strategy, guided the modernization of certification and Course Conductor pathways, and coordinated regional representatives across the country. He previously served as Head of Communications on the CSIA BC Board of Directors, where he co-established the CSIA BC Scholarship Program — a model later adopted by other CSIA regions. Whistler-based, Guy remains active on snow as an instructor and trainer with the Whistler Blackcomb Snow School, maintaining a direct connection to the membership and the core purpose of the CSIA.

As Program Manager, Guy will oversee program standards and delivery quality, support the Course Conductor community, and help align certification pathways with the CSIA’s strategic direction.

GUY DALE, PROGRAM MANAGER

“Ski education has played a major role in both my professional and personal development, and the CSIA has been central to that journey. I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity and excited to work alongside our EPCs, Course Conductors, volunteers, and leadership teams as we continue strengthening the member experience, building a strong national culture, and pursuing excellence across the country together. ‘’

JEAN-FRANÇOIS BEAULIEU, SENIOR DIRECTOR OF PROGRAMS & EDUCATION
