Montréal, QC — October 22, 2025 — The Canadian Ski Instructors’ Alliance (CSIA) is proud to announce the appointment of J.F. Beaulieu as Research & Development Lead. This appointment represents another major step forward in the CSIA’s ongoing growth and evolution strengthening its team of leaders and reaffirming the organization’s commitment to professional excellence and innovation. The newly created Research & Development Lead role will help drive the quality, consistency, and impact of CSIA programs across Canada.
In this new role, Beaulieu will help lead the development and delivery of the Course Conductor Training Program, working closely with Jason Young (Products & Education Manager), Betsy Linnell (Program Manager), the Technical and Education Committee (TEC), and regional Education Program Coordinators (EPCs). He will focus on fostering excellence, collaboration, and professional growth among course conductors, providing the guidance, support, and mentorship needed for instructors to thrive at all levels.
As part of this new role, Beaulieu will serve as part of the 2027 Interski Team coaching staff as Technical Coach. There, he will draw upon his experience as a four-time team member and former captain to help prepare the team to represent the CSIA internationally with excellence while ensuring their work reflects and serves the 20,000+ members they represent. With over 25 years of experience in ski education, coaching, and program development, Beaulieu’s career reflects a rare depth of expertise and a commitment to mentorship and professional development. He is a CSIA Level 4 Course Conductor, former Technical Committee member, former Ski School Director at Mont-Sainte-Anne, Technical Director for Rookie Academy (New Zealand and Canada), Alpine Canada Performance Level Coach, and National French Ski Instructor (Chamonix, France).
