Whether you’re just starting your certification journey or eyeing your Trainer Designation, CSIA’s four certification levels give you a clear path forward — and a community to grow with.
Level 1 Certification
Develop the basic skills for teaching new skiers of all ages with a focus on teaching children.
Snow Park Level 1
Develop basic skills in the park on a variety of terrain and features.
Level 2 Certification
Improve situational teaching skills on groomed/ungroomed blue terrain.
Snow Park Level 2
Build your advanced skills in the terrain park environment.
Level 3 Certification
Advanced tactics and skill refinement to teach on blue and black, groomed and off-piste terrain.
Trainer Designation
Develop skills to train new instructors and become a CSIA Course Conductor.
Level 4 Certification
Expert-level teaching and skiing skills – extensive experience required.
