TRAINER DESIGNATION

The Trainer Designation is a valuable tool and training opportunity for leaders in the industry who are already, or are looking to become:

Trainers in their Snow School
CSIA Level 1 Course Conductors
Level 4 Certified

PREREQUISITES:

CSIA Level 3 Certification or CSIA Snow Park Level 2 Certification*
Interest in developing other instructors’ ski technique and teaching skills

2 days for Trainer Development
1 day for Trainer Exam

COURSE DESCRIPTION

A proven technique to improve your own understanding of a subject is to teach others, and that is exactly what the Trainer Designation program provides for. Participants will learn how to model a clear and concise lesson approach and will be shown how to pass on knowledge and experience to ‘new’ ski instructors who are at the beginning of their development journey.

As a Trainer, the ability to provide a well-structured, interactive and collaborative training opportunity for new instructors is key for them to gain knowledge and confidence.
