Mission
The Women In Skiing (WIS) Committee helps to increase & retain female members in the CSIA, identify and share methodologies specific to female skiers, and drive participation and engagement at all levels, including in leadership roles.
Vision
To champion equity, foster inclusivity, and create safe environments – physically and psychologically – to empower women to thrive & progress in the world of skiing. We envision a future where every female, regardless of background or ability, feels welcomed, supported, and inspired to pursue their skiing aspirations without barriers and biases.
WIS SUMMIT
This three-day Summit provides an opportunity for CSIA women to come together, learn, develop their skills, socialize and build a strong community.
February 2-4, 2027 at Silverstar Mountain Resort.

The WIS Committee offers online talks for members of any gender. Links will be sent by email to all members and promoted on our Facebook page. Topics typically include gear education, trailblazers in our sport and psycho-educational pieces.
