Hope everyone had an amazing summer full of biking, paddleboarding, hiking, camping, climbing, sailing, kiting, foiling or just hanging around waiting for the snow to return. Summer isn’t over just yet, but the excitement has already shifted toward the season ahead. The Board has been finalizing the Regional Event schedule and is aiming to have most of the dates up by early October. This includes Ignition Days, City Lights, Northern Fest and a re-vamped Spring Fling that we are super excited about. Stay tuned to the website for the latest updates.

Are you passionate about ski teaching, looking to make a difference and help shape the future of the CSIA in BC/Yukon? The CSIA BC Region has three positions on the board up for election this fall and are seeking nominations for candidates that can bring their leadership and vision to help deliver value to our membership in BC and the Yukon. The Board openings are for:
- Two (2) directors for the Southwestern Zone
- One (1) director for the Kootenay Zone
Deadline for applications has been extended to September 17. If you are interested, check out the website for more details about the nomination process, or contact us for more information.
Scholarship & Bursaries
Looking for some funding to help with your professional development? Scholarships are back this year, and we have also expanded the Bursary program to include more opportunities for financial aid. The funding tab on our website is being updated to make it easier to navigate and find the scholarship/bursary that best suits you. Update should be available mid-to-end of September with the latest info.
Hall of Fame
Do you know someone who has made a significant contribution to the growth of the industry in BC and the Yukon? Categories are Builders, Inspirational Leaders or Special Contributors. Nominate them by completing the form on our website under the Hall of Fame tab.
