WHAT’S NEW IN BC/YUKON?

This winter may have started with a low snowpack and limited terrain, but it hasn’t dampened our excitement for the season ahead. We look forward to continuing to evolve our regional offerings with a focus on community, support and member engagement. Here’s wishing everyone a safe and festive holiday season and all the health and happiness for the new year.

Bursary Programs

Looking for some funding to help with your professional development? We have expanded the Bursary program to include more opportunities for financial aid. This season, the CSIA BC/Yukon Region is offering 6 Regional Bursaries, WIS Bursaries and additional funding through our Community Chest program. See website under Funding tab for details.

If you are planning on doing a course this season and need financial assistance, APPLY. Deadline for bursary applications is February 28, 2026.

Events

Regional Events are up on snowpro.com to register. They can be found under the search categories; Region Programs, Camps and Events. Dates and locations can be found on the website under the Events tab and in the new calendar feature.

Ignition Days in December, Northern Festival, WIS Pro Day and City Lights in the New Year. Big Mountain and a re-vamped Spring Fling will be open for registration shortly. Sign up today and look forward to seeing you on the slopes.
