WHAT’S NEW IN BC/YUKON?

Hope everyone has enjoyed their summer and for those affected by the fires, our thoughts are with you. Where has the summer gone? Seems like it just flew by as quick as an A-line lap, or my golf slice. are with you. With September fast approaching, it’s time to start thinking about ski fitness and your dryland training. Start the season strong and get inspired with some training tips from our Interski members on the CSIA Instagram page, @amsccsia, or check out the BC Region website for some great exercises from SKICOSMOS. 

Opportunity to Join the CSIA BC Team

Are you interested in joining the CSIA BC Region Board of Directors? We are seeking Directors who are representative of the communities we serve, who can bring their leadership and vision to help deliver value to our Membership. The CSIA BC Nomination Committee invites nominations of eligible CSIA BC Members to fill four (4) Director positions in the upcoming 2026 Election. Membership Renewal, Course and Regional Event Dates

Get ahead of the game and renew your membership as of September 1, 2026.

Course schedule will be up on snowpro.com and registration open as of September, with Regional Events being added as they are confirmed. This is a month ahead of the usual timeline and will give all our members a chance to plan their season, starting with Ignition Days. We have some exciting changes to the format of the Whistler Ignition Day, stay tuned for more info coming soon. programs and events will be added as we get confirmation from resort partners.

Know someone who has contributed to the growth and well-being of the CSIA on a regional scale? Someone who has made an impact to the profession of ski teaching? Recognize their efforts and commitment by nominating them for the BC Region Hall of Fame as a Builder, Inspirational Leader or Special Contributor.
