CSIA Appoints Norman Kreutz as Technical & Educational Advisor and Interski Team Coach

September 2026 – Montreal, QC

The Canadian Ski Instructors’ Alliance (CSIA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Norman Kreutz as Technical & Educational Advisor and Interski Team Coach. In this role, Norman will support National Course Conductor training and the 2027 Interski Team coaching staff, contribute to the CSIA Mentorship Program, and provide technical expertise to the continued development of CSIA programs and resources.

Norman Kreutz brings an exceptional depth of experience to the role. A CSIA Level 4 instructor since 1983, his career has included roles as an instructor, coach, Course Conductor, Western Course Director, Ski School Director and Technical Director. He has represented Canada at four Interski Congresses, both as a team member and coach, and has served on the CSIA National Technical Committee. Norman is also a member of the CSIA Hall of Fame.

Based at Silver Star Mountain Resort, Norman currently serves as Technical Director of the Silver Star Snow School, where he remains actively involved in instructor development and technical training.
