Celebrating Excellence at Our 2026 AGM & Awards Banquet + CSIA Ontario Scholarship Program

What a fantastic way to wrap up another season! Our 2026 AGM and Awards Banquet on Friday, September 18 at Hockley Valley brought together members from across the region to celebrate the achievements, dedication and passion that make our community so special.

We were thrilled to recognize all of our Award of Merit recipients from 26 snow schools across our region, as well as this year’s outstanding award recipients:

  • Outstanding Achievement Awards: Stuart Wigg, Wendy Webb and Jiao Jiang
  • Level 1 Course Conductor of the Year: Michele Jacques
  • Rookie Course Conductor of the Year: Scott Pritchard
  • Trainer of the Year: Rick Cook

The evening also provided a wonderful opportunity to come together and honour our newest Hall of Fame inductees, Jason Young and Dave Mouck, celebrating their contributions and lasting impact on our ski community.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening such a memorable celebration. We wish all our members a safe, successful and fantastic 2027 season!

CSIA Ontario Board of Directors 2026-2027

We also confirmed our new CSIA Ontario Board for 2026-2027 and would like to welcome Seán Delaney and Perry Jeffery as new directors. The Board would like to thank the outgoing directors Phil Sim and Jiao Jiang for their efforts and commitment to our board and region.

CSIA Ontario Scholarship Program – Applications Open October 1

Looking to take your skiing and professional development to the next level in 2027? The CSIA Ontario Scholarship Program is here to help support your goals.

Applications open October 1, 2026, with a deadline of October 31, 2026.

If you are planning to work toward your Level 2, Level 3 or Level 4 certification, or attend the Women in Ski Summit at SilverStar Mountain Resort in British Columbia in February 2027, we encourage you to apply for financial support through your regional board.
