This summer, CSIA staff and the Technical Education Committee (TEC) have been working hard to develop new eLearning resources for our members and ski schools. From writing and reviewing content to refining learning activities and preparing courses for delivery, this work reflects a shared commitment to practical, consistent and accessible instructor education. We are excited to share the results this winter, with new off-snow development opportunities that help instructors prepare for the season and support ski schools in training their teams.

The new offerings include Ski the Canadian Way, Teach the Canadian Way, Teaching Children, and Analysis and Development resources for Levels 1, 2 and 3. Additional courses will cover Level 2 and Level 3 Ski Standards and Big Mountain Skiing, along with a module on finding a mentor and being a mentor. Together, these resources will give members more opportunities to strengthen their understanding, reflect on their practice and build their skills at their own pace.

Thank you to the staff and TEC members whose hard work has brought this initiative to life. We look forward to seeing these resources support learning throughout the winter and beyond.

The new modules will be available throughout the fall. Please visit your Member Area for access.
